Anndria

Anndria small

Anndria was born to be a composer. At the age of 11 she was in a queen contest where she played Fur Elise by Beethoven on the piano, completely memorized, and won the queen title. In middle school she also played both the trumpet and piano at school gatherings. Beginning in 1970 she started thinking of original compositions in her head and letting them out on the piano over time. She continued to do this throughout High School and often played piano for graduations.

Anndria has played piano and conducted in every church congregation she has attended. She has also played the organ in many temples. She sang in the World Church Choir and many other LDS Choirs.

Anndria is a great composer! Many of her original compositions are magnificent and over the years have been submitted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (many compositions as Anndria Rasmussen and one composition as Anndrea R. Smith) to be put in the new Hymn Book. Submitted Songs/Hymns titled, I Come So Very Soon; Oh My Brother, Oh My Sister, We Are Here; The Priesthood; Heavenly Mother and Heavenly Father; Holy Children; Cultivating Our Minds; and Light.

Anndria has two children and four grandchildren and is happily married to her husband in the temple. Anndria lives in Cedar City, Utah where she performed many her original compositions at the Shakespeare Festival and the Renaissance Faire. On Sounds of Sunday you can hear two of her favorite Christmas songs: What Child Is This and Silent Night.

Anndria has released 12 CDs. 11 with her original compositions. You can find her music on her three YouTube channels: Anndria, Anndrea, and Anndrea Naidu. Enjoy Listening to her music!
